Sources apparently close to the pair said they weren’t dating at the time, however. These sources claimed they were just working together. Despite this, Kravitz spoke highly of the Magic Mike actor, saying she envisioned him in the role before he was ever cast.

They took inspiration from Taxi Driver, with Kravitz and Tatum dressing up as Iris and Travis Bickle, the leads in the movie. “He’s a great guy. We get on really well. We have our own relationship as well. We hang out. We talk. He’s a very soulful human being. He was raised well. He has manners and class.”

It certainly looks like everything on Lenny’s end was positive. That had to be a relief on Channing’s side, and it surely doesn’t hurt that the two seem to be friendly outside of the engagement.
Getting Engaged
Everything continued to go well between the two, with Zoe Kravitz even confirming they were engaged. In October 2023, she went out and about, showing off her engagement ring. The previous weekend, Kravitz and Channing Tatum had spent time at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween party. It’s not exactly clear when Tatum took out the engagement ring and popped the question, though.
Not long beforehand, the pair had been posting about each other online quite a bit. They had even been spotted at a Taylor Swift show.
One post featured a sleeping Zoe Kravitz laying on Channing Tatum’s lap. In the post, he praised her for her work ethic and all-round lifestyle, but saying “she’s tired bro.” He even went on to say he’d “stand ten toes down” for the Blink Twice actress and worried if “she’d break.”

A source confirmed that the Blink Twice stars had broken up, but neither the actor nor actress have spoken on the issue. Lenny Kravitz did speak on it briefly, however, saying there weren’t any hard feelings. The fact there were no hard feelings seems to suggest there was no dramatic falling out.

No Negativity
At least there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood. The split came as a surprise, as many people believed The Batman star and Magic Mike star would be together for life.

As the rocker put it, the two knew this was coming, but he is still fond of Tatum. A close friend also says that Zoe and Channing both knew the relationship should come to an end. According to the source, they were “better off friends.”
